Si incomincia dallo scollo, montando le maglie con un avvio provvisorio, lo sprone è lavorato a due colori con i fili passati (“stranded” in inglese). Le decorazioni a spirale ricordano i vortici del tipico vento triestino.
Le maniche extra lunghe e il corpo vengono divisi in corrispondenza delle ascelle e i tre pezzi vengono terminati separatamente.
I motivi dello sprone vengono ripetuti anche sul bordo del corpo e delle maniche, i bordi sono quindi doppiati con un colore contrastante e cuciti.
Alla fine si riprendono le maglie dello scollo, si lavora il bordo doppiato in colore contrastante e si cuce.
