“Subìt” (nel dialetto dell’Emilia-Romagna “subito”) è un maglione dalla linea oversized lavorato dall’alto verso il basso in un unico pezzo.
Usando il primo colore, si incomincia a lavorare il bordo a coste ritorte del davanti. Si proseguirà a maglia rasata usando il secondo colore e si metteranno in sospeso le maglie una volta che si raggiungerà l’altezza dello scalfo desiderata.
Ora si riprendono le maglie lungo il bordo dell’avvio e allo stesso tempo di formerà il collo. Il dietro quindi sarà sagomato con una serie di ferri accorciati per modellare collo e spalle.
Alla fine dello scalfo, si unirà il lavoro in tondo, montando anche le maglie per le ascelle.
Il lavoro continuerà in tondo e si incomincerà anche a lavorare la sezione a mosaico con il primo e il terzo colore.
Alla fine il corpo sarà completato con un bordo a coste ritorte lavorato con il secondo colore.
Le maglie per le corte maniche sono riprese lungo lo scalfo, sono lavorate a maglia rasata usando il secondo colore e sono completate da un bordo a coste ritorte lavorato con il primo colore.

“Subìt” (the word for “right away” in the dialect spoken in Emilia-Romagna) is an oversized top down sweater.
Using the first colour, knitting starts with the twisted rib border for the front. The knitting continues in stockinette stitch using the second colour; once the desired armhole depth has been reached, the stitches are placed on hold.
Next, stitches are picked up along the cast-on edge; at the same time, the neckline stitches are cast on. All of these stitches will be used to knit the front. The back will be shaped using a series of short rows to create the neck and shoulders.
Now the pieces are joined in the round and the stitches for the underarms are cast-on.
The knitting continues in the round and the section in mosaic is started using the third colour.
Lastly, the body will be completed with a twisted rib border in the second colour.
Now the stitches along the armholes are picked up and the short sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch, using the second colour. The sleeves are completed by a twisted rib border in the first colour.
