MELATA

“Melata” è una maglietta lavorata dal basso verso l’alto ed ha una linea morbida e comoda.

Si incomincia con un bordo a coste ritorte e il corpo è lavorato in tondo con un semplice punto a maglie passate in due colori molto semplice ma di grande effetto.

La maglietta si divide all’altezza degli scalfi e si continua il lavoro in piano.

Il davanti termina con una sezione a coste ritorte e il collo è a barchetta. Anche il dietro termina con una sezione a coste ritorte, ma è modellato da una serie di ferri accorciati.

Alla fine si cuciono le spalle.

Infine si riprendono le maglie lungo gli scalfi e si lavorano i bordi a coste ritorte.

“Melata” is loose-fitting t-shirt knit from the bottom-up.

Starting from a twisted rib border, the body is knit in one piece in the round in an easy pattern of passed stitches in two colours: very simple but with great visual impact.

The work is divided at the armholes, and the front and back are completed separately, working back and forth.

The front has a boat neckline and ends with a twisted rib border. The back shoulders are shaped with a series of short rows and ends with a twisted rib border.

Once completed the front and back are seamed together at the shoulders.

Finally, the stitches along the armholes are picked up to knit a twisted rib edging.
