ASÈ

“Asè” (“abbastanza” in dialetto bolognese) è una maglia oversized, lavorata dall’alto verso il basso in un unico pezzo senza cuciture.
Si incomincia dal collo, lavorato a coste ritorte, e si usano i ferri accorciati per creare la forma della scollatura e delle spalle.
Successivamente si lavora lo sprone, continuando con gli aumenti. Le spalle sono decorate con un interessante motivo che mescola trecce e pizzo.
Si separano il davanti e il dietro, lasciando le maglie delle spalle in sospeso su un pezzo di filo di scarto, e si lavora in piano fino alla base degli scalfi. Infine si unisce nuovamente il lavoro in tondo.
Il corpo è modellato con una serie di aumenti ed è terminato con un piccolo bordo a coste ritorte.
Le maniche sono riprese lungo l’apertura per il braccio. Il motivo a trecce e pizzo continua lungo la manica, che non ha diminuzioni e che termina con un bordo a coste ritorte.

“Asè” (the word for “enough” in the dialect spoken in Bologna) is an oversized, seamless sweater, knit from the top down in one piece.
The knitting starts from the twisted rib collar and continues in short rows to shape the neckline and shoulders.
Next the yoke is knit, continuing with the increases. The shoulders are embellished with an interesting mix of cables and lace.
The shoulder stitches are left on waste yarn and the front and back are divided and worked flat to the armholes. Finally, the top is once again joined in the round and the body is shaped with a series of increases and ends with a small twisted rib border.
Finally, the shoulder stitches are picked up to work the sleeves. The cable and lace pattern continues along the sleeve without decreasing; the sleeve ends with a twisted rib border.
