GENTILE

“Gentile” è una piccola cappa elegante lavorata in tondo, dall'alto verso il basso e senza cuciture.

Si parte dall’alto con un bordo decorativo in pizzo che si trasforma in una lavorazione a coste ritorte. Subito dopo lo scollo si prosegue con una serie di aumenti decorativi che vanno a sagomare le spalle.

Lo sprone è lavorato con un motivo colorato a fili passati (stranded in inglese) ed è modellato da una serie di aumenti nascosti all’interno dei grafici.

Si conclude con un bordo a coste ritorte che richiama quello iniziale del collo.

“Gentile” is an elegant, seamless shoulder cowl knit top-down, in the round.

You start at the top with a decorative lace border that changes into twisted ribbing. Immediately after the neck opening, you continue with a series of decorative increases to shape the shoulders. 

The yoke is knit in a stranded color work pattern and is shaped using a series of increases hidden in the color pattern chart. 

The bottom of the shoulder cowl has a twisted rib border to match the neck border.
